Climate

Goa enjoys a warm climate throughout the year. The temperature ranges from 28C to 32C for most of the year and touches a maximum of 34C during May. Although Goa is warm, it does not suffer the oppressive heat found on the plains of India. This is largely thanks to a prevailing breeze which emanates from the Arabian Sea. The West facing beaches which span the Riviera offer a host of convivial establishments where the spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed with a wide range of refreshments.

Climate

The Monsoon governs the climate between June and September. During monsoon Goa receives between 250 and 300cm of rainfall. During this time, fishing and swimming in the sea is not advisable and whilst European tourism decreases markedly during these months, domestic tourism scarcely even flinches. From October until May, rainfall is extremely rare.
